BLACK AND BROWN OPPORTUNITIES FOR PROFIT CENTER

Rebuilding, Reuniting, and Empowering: Women of Color Paving the Path to Stronger Communities

Our very own Kim Carter recently appeared as a guest on Angela Yee's podcast, Way Up with Angela Yee. Can you believe it? Yep, you heard that right!

During her time on the show, Kim had the incredible opportunity to shine a spotlight on the amazing work we do right here at the Time for Change Foundation’s BBOP Center and BBOP Academy. And let me tell you, friends, it was nothing short of inspiring!

Kim spoke passionately about our mission to rebuild communities, reunite families, and build economic security for women of color. And you know what? Her words truly resonated with listeners far and wide. She shared the heart and soul behind our non-profit foundation, emphasizing our unwavering commitment to supporting women from incarceration and homelessness to self-sufficiency.

But here’s the thing that really stood out: Kim made it clear that we’re not just here to recycle homelessness—we’re here to end it once and for all. We’re all about creating real, lasting change and providing access to opportunities for black and brown women that they may have never had before.

Listening to Kim speak on the podcast was not only empowering but also a reminder of the incredible impact we can have when we come together as a community. Her words were a call to action, a reminder that each and every one of us has the power to make a difference, no matter how big or small.

So, to all the amazing women out there listening, I want to leave you with this: never underestimate the power of your voice, your passion, and your determination to create change. Together, we can make a difference. Together, we can end homelessness and uplift women of color to achieve their dreams.

Thank you, Kim, for being such an incredible advocate and for sharing our mission with the world. And thank you to Angela Yee for providing a platform to amplify voices and inspire action. Let’s keep pushing forward, keep lifting each other up, and keep making our communities and our world a better place for all.
